We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Room at Seton Medical Center Harker Heights. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care, developing nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
- Communicate changes in patient clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
- Completion of education to obtain Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) with Texas Board of Nursing – OR – current home state license is required for multi-state license recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Required to complete the education necessary to obtain my BSN degree within four (4) years of my date of hire with Seton Medical Center Harker Heights
- BLS through American Heart Association required upon hire
- ACLS through American Heart Association within 6 months
- PALS (AHA) and/or ENPC required upon hire
- TNCC within 18 months of hire
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Emergency Room hospital setting.
