Key Responsibilities
In the role of Operating Room Surgical Specialist, you will be integral to the surgical team, ensuring that the operating room is meticulously prepared for various surgical interventions. Your contributions are vital to the success of our surgical procedures.
- Prepare the surgical environment for designated operations, ensuring all instruments are sterile and ready for use.
- Understand the specific requirements of different surgical procedures and the preferences of the surgeons you will assist.
- Remain adaptable to the dynamic nature of surgical emergencies.
- Conduct thorough clean-up and turnover of the operating room to facilitate the next surgical case.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program.
- Certification as a surgical technologist (CST) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Demonstrated manual dexterity and keen attention to detail, along with experience in operating advanced surgical equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in perioperative services is preferred.
- Experience in cardiac surgical procedures is highly desirable.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $31.62 per hour.
