As a Surgical Technologist with Baptist Health, you will play a vital role in the operating room, working closely with the surgical team to ensure seamless and efficient procedures. This is a full-time, night shift position, offering a competitive salary and a $30,000 sign-on bonus.
About the Role:
This position requires a completion of a Surgical Technology program and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the end of orientation. As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing scrub functions and other roles that support the perioperative plan of care. You will demonstrate knowledge of operative procedures and utilize principles of aseptic technique, including gowning, gloving, sterilization, and disinfection. Additionally, you will actively participate in unit activities, ensure positive customer relations interactions, and be on call weekends, weeknights, and holidays by rotation.
