Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Tester to join our team at Sensible Recycling. As an Electronics Tester, you will be responsible for testing and inspecting various electronic devices to ensure they meet our quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with electronic devices, computers, and/or other consumer electronics. Adaptability and dependability are essential skills for this role, as you will need to adapt to changes in the work environment and manage demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Test and inspect various electronic devices, including switches, UPSs, PCs, laptops, servers, AV equipment, and other devices
  • Determine the condition and functionality of the items using a detailed process and checklist
  • Enter information about the devices into our inventory system using a computer
  • Perform additional general administrative tasks as necessary
  • Clean and repair electronic devices as needed
  • Assist with online and retail sales as necessary
  • Assist with warehouse processing as necessary

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with Apple products, computers, and/or other consumer electronics preferred but not required
  • Adaptability and dependability -- must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage demands, and deal with unexpected events
  • Experience within a warehouse and/or retail store that sells cell phones or electronics preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (over 50lbs) regularly
