- Image Acquisition and Quality Control: Obtain high-quality images through the use of various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI. Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, and report any issues or concerns to supervisors or managers.
- Patient Education and Communication: Educate patients on the imaging procedures, including any necessary preparation or precautions. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Quality Improvement and Safety: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care. Report any incidents, errors, or near misses to supervisors or managers, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to prevent similar incidents.
- Certifications and Licenses: Current ARRT Board Certification in Radiology and a valid Medical Radiography or General Radiology Technologist Permit to Practice license.
- Education and Training: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in imaging modalities and equipment, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
