Job Summary

As a Radiology Coordinator at Catholic Health Initiatives, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and quality outcomes to our patients. Under the direction of a physician, you will perform procedures using diagnostic imaging equipment, providing health care services as needed. Your expertise will be essential in producing images for interpretation by licensed practitioners, exercising professional judgment in the performance of services, and maintaining a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.

Key Responsibilities

Proper assessment of the patient and their abilities to participate in ordered procedures. Provide clear explanations of the procedure, including duration, process, and what to expect following completion. Verify informed consent for and assist physicians with interventional procedures, such as needle localization, aspiration, biopsies, and other invasive procedures. Practice aseptic and sterile techniques as necessary and observe universal precautions. Provide patient education as appropriate.

Requirements

Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program. BLS required upon hire. ARRT Board Certified in Radiology. Must hold a valid Medical Radiography or General Radiology Technologist Permit to Practice license in Nebraska or Iowa, depending on work state. Demonstrated ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in an environment with shifting priorities, while providing accurate deliverables in a timely fashion. Self-motivated, with excellent follow-up and customer service skills. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills. Interpersonal skills in dealing with guests and team members.

Pay Range

$35.12 - $50.92 /hour
