This role involves collaboration with an integrated contractor-government team focused on creating software for tactical weaponry systems.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will engage in various software engineering activities, including:

  • Evaluating specification documents
  • Designing, implementing, and testing software components
  • Analyzing and resolving software defects
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for software components
  • Providing mentorship to junior engineers
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • A minimum of ten years in software development
  • Proficiency in C++ programming
Additional Requirements:
  • In compliance with the Safer Federal Workforce Taskforce guidance, all employees may be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or possess a legal exemption with approved accommodation.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Familiarity with Linux or Unix as a development environment
