Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Load Distribution: Coordinate the distribution of loads from bookings to over-the-road (OTR) and delivery.
  • Verify Load Compliance: Ensure loads meet customer specifications and DOT regulations at pickup and delivery.
  • Oversee OTR Operations: Track and trace customer freight, optimizing OTR operations.
  • Contract Carriers: Secure dedicated carriers based on domestic capacity needs.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere strictly to company policies, directives, and DOT standards.
  • Negotiate Carrier Rates: Engage in rate negotiations with carriers, aligning with market trends.
  • Approve Payments: Manage and approve accessorial payments.
  • Administer Carrier Contracts: Oversee carrier contracts, including pricing, terms, and conditions, and handle modifications and settlements.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively participate in weekly team meetings to address customer needs.
  • Solve Carrier Issues: Develop solutions for carrier fall-offs, claims, and product issues like overages, shortages, and damages (OSDs).
  • Analyze Insurance Policies: Ensure carrier insurance policies comply with AMX standards.
  • Special Operations: Gain expertise in transloading, trailer dropping, power-only, OSOW (oversized, overweight), and other specialized logistics operations.
