  • Clean, wash, and sanitize meat, seafood, and poultry processing areas to ensure a high level of hygiene and quality control.
  • Prepare processing rooms for washing and ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Power down machines using appropriate procedures to prevent damage and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Break down equipment for cleaning and maintenance to prevent clogs and ensure efficient operation.
  • Use high and low-pressure water wash systems with water temperatures between 40°F and 140°F to sanitize equipment and surfaces.
  • Use proper detergent and sanitizing chemicals following Material Safety and Data Sheet (MSDS) procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in sanitation, maintenance, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
