Position Summary:

  • Support the creation of precise and comprehensive estimates for electrical contracting projects.
  • Collect and evaluate project documents, including plans, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Determine material requirements and labor estimates.
  • Investigate and price electrical supplies and equipment.
  • Employ estimating software to produce detailed cost assessments.
  • Assist in formulating bid proposals.
  • Maintain systematic project documentation and files.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers and subcontractors.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and cost variations.

Candidate Profile:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Fundamental knowledge of electrical systems and components.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
