The Senior Infusion Registered Nurse is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality patient care and coordination of care in our Medical Oncology Clinic. This role requires a strong foundation in oncology and infusion therapy, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including chemotherapy administration, side effect management, and infusion therapy.
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist with orientation and training of new staff members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
- Unencumbered registered nurse license in the state(s) of hire.
- OCN (oncology nurse) certification or other national infusion certification.
- 3 years of infusion nursing experience.
- 2 years of ambulatory nursing experience.
