Job Title: Hydraulic Calibration Specialist
Job Summary:
Winshaw Hydraulic Tools, a dynamic hydraulics company based in Houston, Texas, is seeking an experienced calibration lab technician to manage the calibration lab and ensure calibrations and tools are going out following standard quality control and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of hydraulic equipment
- Document calibration procedures, results, and any deviations from expected values with meticulous attention to detail
- Interact with customers to build strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service
- Maintain the functionality and cleanliness of the calibration lab and equipment
- Continued advancement of technical skills, calibration, and quality assurance knowledge
- Participate and take the lead on annual audits
- Operate within full compliance of all company policies and procedures
- Adhere to safety protocols and ISO quality assurance systems at all times
- Maintain professional behavior and appearance
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a calibration lab
- Strong understanding of measurement principles and calibration techniques
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and calibration software applications
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Commitment to upholding safety and quality standards
