United Urology Group is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. As a key member of our urology care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories to assess patient health status
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participate in hospital consultations and rounds, and may have the opportunity to act as first assistant to urological surgeons
- Document patient information and care in medical records, and maintain department statistical databases for research purposes
- Bachelor's or master's degree in physician assistant studies or a related field
- Certification as a Physician Assistant granted by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Acute care certification and current ACLS, BLS, and CPR certifications
- Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of employment
- Valid DEA drug license and controlled substance license in the state of employment
