Job Summary

Aleracare is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team as an Infusion Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment, providing high-quality care to patients in need of infusion therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients receiving infusion therapy, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account the patient's medical history, current health status, and treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify potential complications and develop strategies to prevent them.
  • Document patient care and treatment plans in a clear and concise manner, ensuring accurate and timely communication with the healthcare team.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Stay current with medical advancements, new technologies, and best practices in infusion therapy.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current NP state license in the state of practice.
  • At least 4-5 years of advanced practice registered nursing (APRN) experience, with a focus on ambulatory and infusion nursing.
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and computer skills, including word processing and efficient use of the internet and email.
  • Current CPR card, advanced practice certification, current APRN licensure, valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.
