We seek an experienced communications professional with a proven track record of strategic communications, client relationship management, and reporting against key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Strategic Communication Plans: Create tailored communication plans to achieve client objectives.
- Lead National-Level Media Relations: Craft compelling media materials and lead national-level media relations initiatives.
- Manage Client Relationships: Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring exceptional client service and relationship management.
- Present to Clients: Deliver persuasive client presentations and manage budget allocations for paid media programs.
- Support Events: Provide event and trade show support to enhance client visibility.
- Drive Social Media: Lead social media initiatives and drive return on investment analysis.
- Research Business Opportunities: Conduct research to identify and evaluate new business opportunities.
- Develop CSR Platforms: Develop platforms that promote corporate social responsibility.
- Track KPIs: Monitor and report progress against strategic KPIs.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- 5-10+ years of communications experience in an agency, client, or media organization are required.
- Proven expertise in client management and building lasting professional relationships is essential.
- Established national media relationships are a plus.
- The ability to travel 5-10% of the time is necessary.
- The role is based in Greenville, SC; candidates must live locally or be willing to relocate.
