CONTACT PERSON:

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Under the supervision of the Custodial Manager, this role involves performing moderately complex custodial tasks, including daily cleaning and maintenance duties associated with the facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cleaning guest accommodations, dining areas, public spaces, and storage zones. Additional tasks involve laundry duties as assigned, monitoring grounds for litter control, preparing the facility for seasonal events, and maintaining inventory to ensure adequate supplies are available.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Completion of 8th grade.

Experience:

Six months of experience in general cleaning, housekeeping, or custodial work.

Licensure:

Must possess a valid State driver's license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High School diploma or GED.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of general facility cleaning techniques;

Familiarity with methods, materials, and equipment used in building care;

Understanding of cleaning procedures;

Knowledge of inventory management principles;

Basic mathematical skills;

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook;

Effective verbal and written communication skills;

Ability to provide quality customer service;

Skill in using custodial materials and chemicals;

Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of facilities;

Proficient in operating custodial equipment;

Ability to establish effective working relationships;

Capability to follow instructions and work independently;

Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.;

Ability to conduct work in accordance with safety protocols.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Required to work in a public facility;

Must be available for 40 hours per week, including various schedules outside of standard hours;

Must be adaptable to changing schedules;

Overtime may be required;

Must perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions;

Non-smoking environment in all facilities.
