Casing Driller Specialist

GeoStabilization International is seeking a highly skilled Casing Driller to join our team. As a key member of our frontline team, you will be responsible for drilling holes, monitoring their condition, and leading crews in the operation and care of drilling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform essential maintenance tasks, including greasing, to ensure optimal functionality of drilling equipment.
- Communicate effectively with the team to facilitate collaboration and ensure maintenance requirements are met.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of drill upkeep and preventive maintenance procedures to enhance equipment longevity and cleanliness.
- Accurately record drill logs and maintain as-builts for comprehensive project documentation.
- Regularly update Superintendents on project progress and address any concerns.
- Work in loud environments and maintain required safety PPE.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of geotechnical experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to meet daily production targets.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to travel extensively, up to three weeks at a time.
- Proficiency in welding.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and engage in strenuous physical labor.
- Vast knowledge of different types of tooling and drilling techniques.
- Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid CDL.
- Managerial experience.
Work Environment:
The work environment is characterized by varying climates, moderate noise levels, and exposure to construction site dangers. Heavy lifting of construction materials is also required.
Compensation:
Hourly range: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour.
Accommodations:

Travel:
100% travel is required, with a 3 weeks on, 1 week off schedule. We have a local project in Abilene, but we'd like to retain individuals to work on future projects.
