Project FIND is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Aide to join our team. As a Kitchen Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service program.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Service: Assist with meal preparation, cooking, portioning, and serving food to our clients.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize pots, pans, cooking utensils, and trays, as well as kitchen equipment and dining areas.
- Supply Management: Receive, unpack, store, and label food and supplies according to funder mandates and protocols.
- Temperature Control: Take and record temperatures of meals, refrigerators, and freezers to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Janitorial Duties: Empty waste baskets and garbage cans, and perform other cleaning tasks as needed.
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required, with prior experience in a kitchen position preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., with occasional flexibility to work Thursday and holidays.
