Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Services Specialist to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Dust and damp mop floors to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  • Move equipment and furniture as needed to facilitate cleaning and maintenance.
  • Clean assigned areas, including walls, windows, and other surfaces, to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refinishes floors, and shampoos carpet to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Requirements:
  • One year of janitorial experience preferred, but willing to train.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
