Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team as a Lead Interpreting Radiologist of Mammography at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center in Aurora, CO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret breast imaging examinations, including screening and diagnostic mammography, and breast ultrasound.
  • Perform breast core biopsies and fine needle aspirations of the breast and lymph node.
  • Ensure adherence to the American College of Radiology (ACR) mammography accreditation and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) regulations.
  • Collaborate with radiology residents and medical students as a teaching affiliate of the University of Colorado.
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have a current, active, and unencumbered U.S. State Medical License.
  • Must be board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary range of $380,000 to $400,000, including biennial longevity pay increases.
  • Annual performance pay bonus up to $15,000 or 7.5% of annual salary.
