Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

GQR Healthcare-Allied is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join their team in Norfolk, Virginia.

This is a travel opportunity that offers a unique chance to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of conditions, including respiratory failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and analyze results to diagnose and treat respiratory conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in respiratory therapy, with a strong focus on pediatric care.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and nights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
