Job Summary:

As a Mechanical Support Specialist at Butterball, you will provide critical mechanical support services to ensure the smooth operation of our processing facilities. Your expertise will be essential in responding to operational changes, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the highest level of quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide mechanical support services to respond to operational changes, including malfunction, breakdown, relocation, replacement, or modification of existing mechanical systems and/or equipment.
  • Assist the maintenance team and support all aspects of the maintenance department as needed or directed.
  • Complete maintenance work orders accurately and on time.
  • Perform emergency equipment repairs independently and/or with assistance from other IMTs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
  • Work in accordance with quality, safety, sanitation standards, quality policies, and guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment.
Requirements:
  • General industrial mechanical maintenance and/or electrical system experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to complete a post-offer physical examination successfully in accordance with position functional capacity requirements.
  • Will be required to work in elevated areas above 4 feet.
  • Must be able to climb ladder and wear fall protection as necessary.
