Key Responsibilities:
As a Housekeeper, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our facilities are impeccably clean and welcoming for our visitors. Your duties will include:
- Cleaning the resort office, clubhouse, public areas, and model units as assigned, which involves mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disposing of waste.
- Preparing cabins and rental units for incoming guests by ensuring they meet our cleanliness standards.
- Maintaining cleanliness in common areas and keeping track of cleaning supplies, requesting refills when necessary.
- Reporting maintenance issues in common areas or rental properties to the Resort Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
- Assisting maintenance staff and other team members as required.
- Helping with the cleanup after resort-sponsored guest activities and events.
- Responding to guest inquiries with professionalism, patience, and a positive attitude.
- Addressing guest-related issues and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Driving a motorized vehicle for errands and supply pickups as needed.
Collaboration:
You will work closely with management and staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination within the resort team, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years of experience in a housekeeping position.
- Familiarity with cleaning products and supplies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- A willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.
