Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Educator to join our team at Christian Park Healthcare Center. As a Nurse Educator, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of educational programs for our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Educational Programs: Develop and deliver educational programs on all shifts and for all departments to enhance the knowledge and skills of our nursing staff.
  • Participate in Staff Evaluation: Participate in the staff evaluation process by providing attendance records and observation of employee performance.
  • Provide Facility Orientation: Provide general facility orientation to all new employees and ongoing in-service education.
  • Plan and Schedule Education Programs: Plan and provide a monthly and annual schedule of planned education programs.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)/State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) meet the annual 12-hour in-service requirement.
  • Quality Assurance: Actively participate in quality assurance and report concerns to supervisor.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
  • Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
  • Certification: CPR certification.
