Key Responsibilities:
Cost Estimation and Quoting: Evaluate customer inquiries to identify the most economical manufacturing strategies. Leverage your knowledge of production processes to deliver precise and competitive pricing estimates.
Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to grasp customer requirements and provide prompt and accurate estimates. Serve as a bridge between sales and production teams to ensure effective communication and order fulfillment.
Issue Resolution: Detect and address potential challenges in the estimation workflow, such as material availability, production capacity, or technical limitations. Suggest innovative solutions to satisfy customer demands while enhancing profitability.
Order Management: Keep detailed records of customer orders and monitor their progress throughout the manufacturing cycle. Update customers on order status and any modifications to delivery schedules.
Technical Drawing Interpretation: Analyze and comprehend blueprints and technical schematics to ascertain product specifications and manufacturing needs. Utilize this information to create accurate estimates and ensure precision in pricing.
Mathematical Skills: Exhibit strong mathematical abilities, including the capacity to perform calculations with precision to three decimal places. Apply mathematical concepts to determine material costs, labor expenses, and overall project pricing.
