About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-quality care to our medically fragile clients/patients in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will be responsible for implementing the physician's prescribed plan of care, conducting patient assessments, and coordinating care with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Implement the physician's prescribed plan of care, including administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Provide health promotion, teaching, and training to family members.
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, and obtain co-signature of Case Manager on all verbal orders.
  • Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client problems, concerns, and/or changes in client condition.
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice.
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS.
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
  • Reliable transportation.
