Job Title: Lighting Engineer

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a highly skilled Lighting Engineer to join our team. As a Lighting Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of lighting systems for live events and concerts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform load-in and load-out of lighting equipment
  • Set up and break down lighting systems for events
  • Focus and adjust lighting to meet artist or event specifications
  • Operate lighting control boards and spotlights
  • Maintain and repair lighting equipment
  • Assist with production throughout the venue as needed
  • Accommodate artist or event A/V requirements
  • Ensure safe and consistent operation of lighting systems
  • Assist with technical advance with artist representatives
  • Ensure proper care and handling of lighting and A/V equipment
  • Interact with visiting production crews to ensure successful shows
  • Distribute or create lighting plot plans
  • Oversee and operate systems pertaining to lighting throughout the event
  • Ensure special events lighting needs are scheduled and met
  • Assist audio crew with stands, microphones, cables, etc.
  • Assist with any special events operations
Requirements:
  • 3 years minimum tour or stage production experience
  • Experience in stage lighting, pro audio systems, and basic video systems
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft applications
  • Superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • High School Diploma
  • Preferred: College Degree
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
  • Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
  • Work in an environment with moderate to loud noise level, extreme lighting changes, strobes, and moving lights
  • Able to wear a radio earpiece during the scheduled shift
