Essential Duties:

  • Ensure all operations align with the ethical standards and integrity of GGP Parks LLC.
  • Oversee daily activities of the Security Team, including the development and execution of security strategies and initiatives.
  • Adapt and implement security plans in response to changing environments and operational demands.
  • Set measurable performance objectives to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations.
  • Enhance operational performance through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to promote departmental and organizational goals.
  • Conduct regular assessments of security operations to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Manage interactions with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating patience and professionalism.
  • Implement health and safety regulations to maintain a secure environment.
  • Facilitate ongoing development for team members through mentorship and training programs.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with local and state regulations.
  • Exhibit composure while managing multiple priorities in high-pressure situations.
  • Make informed decisions regarding tactical security matters, assessing urgency and response needs.
  • Prepare detailed reports for management, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of incidents.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive workplace by addressing and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement agencies to enhance community safety initiatives.
  • Uphold confidentiality regarding all internal matters related to guests and employees.
  • Participate in the Manager on Duty program and undertake additional responsibilities as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five years of leadership experience in Security, Law Enforcement, Military, or related fields.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and adaptable to various software applications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or a related field.
  • Familiarity with local laws and law enforcement practices.
  • Experience as a first responder.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
