Position Overview:

The CNC Machinist will work with minimal oversight to execute intricate machining, fitting, and assembly tasks. This role involves selecting tooling, establishing operational sequences, and crafting tools to meet precise specifications. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in executing complex setups and operating machine tools, as well as utilizing machinist's hand tools and measurement instruments effectively. Familiarity with machining a variety of materials is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and operate machine tools for various machining tasks
  • Utilize machinist's hand tools and measuring devices
  • Conduct standard shop calculations using technical mathematics
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in the workspace

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an apprenticeship or a minimum of four years of relevant on-the-job experience, or at least five years of machinist experience

  • Capable of performing shop calculations involving technical math, geometry, and trigonometry
  • Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic

Physical Demands:
