Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Nuvance Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide clinical leadership and expertise in your area of specialty, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in your area of specialty, counseling staff in conformance with hospital policy.
  • Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and educate patients and families on health management.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, promoting evidence-based practice and patient safety.
  • Provide education and training to staff, promoting professional development and competence.
  • Evaluate staffing needs, recommending changes to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Participate in conferences, staff meetings, and in-service training, promoting continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of three years of experience in a specialty area.
  • BSN preferred, with certification in area of specialty.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

This is a per diem position, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of our patients and healthcare team.
