About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team at Goodwin Recruiting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our kitchen to ensure a consistent and high-quality product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the kitchen to ensure a consistent and high-quality product.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management to develop and motivate team members while fostering a safe, productive work environment.
- Ensure kitchen sanitation and maintenance meet all federal, state, corporate, and franchise standards.
- Monitor and control labor and food costs while preparing reports and analyzing data to meet or exceed budget goals.
- Create and manage food promotions and displays to drive sales and enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and seasonal offerings.
Requirements:
- More than two years of post-high school culinary education or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor a diverse kitchen team.
- Proven experience in managing food and labor costs, as well as ensuring sanitation standards.
- Ability to create, recommend, and implement food promotions and displays.
- Experience in a high-volume, high-quality environment.
