About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team at Goodwin Recruiting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our kitchen to ensure a consistent and high-quality product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the kitchen to ensure a consistent and high-quality product.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management to develop and motivate team members while fostering a safe, productive work environment.
  • Ensure kitchen sanitation and maintenance meet all federal, state, corporate, and franchise standards.
  • Monitor and control labor and food costs while preparing reports and analyzing data to meet or exceed budget goals.
  • Create and manage food promotions and displays to drive sales and enhance the guest experience.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and seasonal offerings.

Requirements:

  • More than two years of post-high school culinary education or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor a diverse kitchen team.
  • Proven experience in managing food and labor costs, as well as ensuring sanitation standards.
  • Ability to create, recommend, and implement food promotions and displays.
  • Experience in a high-volume, high-quality environment.
