We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support one of our prominent automotive partners. This role involves overseeing the testing project for designated features, which includes integration and definition, scope and coverage, communication, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the testing project for assigned features, ensuring comprehensive coverage and effective communication.
- Develop and negotiate the testing scope and the statement of work.
- Support the analysis of test requirements against the capabilities of the testing environment to define the testing scope and instrumentation strategies.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical systems engineering.
- Experience with bench testing of distributed electrical systems.
- Familiarity with embedded controller networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and the use of ECU diagnostic and network communication tools.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience in vehicle test automation.
- Prior involvement in IOD projects.
The compensation for this position ranges from $30/hr to $40/hr, with variations based on skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages commence on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options. Additionally, a 401k retirement account with employer matching is available. Employees are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as mandated by applicable law.
