Your Responsibilities:

The Addiction Recovery Counselor is essential in guiding patients through their recovery from substance use disorders. This role involves delivering empathetic care through both individual and group therapy sessions.

Key Duties:
  • Facilitate counseling sessions with guidance
  • Maintain documentation of patient progress
  • Co-lead group therapy sessions
  • Complete necessary patient care records
  • Develop personalized treatment strategies
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments
  • Identify appropriate referrals
  • Provide crisis intervention support
  • Manage case responsibilities
  • Serve as a communication link
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related health services field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or 1 year of professional practice
  • Background in addiction recovery and/or Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) preferred
Licensure/Certifications:
  • Certified Substance Abuse Counselor: CSAC, CSAC-R
  • Licensed Mental Health Professionals: LPC, LPC-R, LCSW, LCSW-R, LSATP
