KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Engage with team members daily to address challenges in a hands-on manner.

Ensure a secure working environment and promote safe practices among employees.

Oversee production timelines and promptly address any issues that arise.

Guarantee product excellence through established procedures, training, and appropriate tools.

Implement customer-centric processes that align with lean manufacturing principles.

Provide training and mentorship to enhance standard work practices, 5S methodology, and workplace cleanliness.

Lead initiatives for change and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Manage inventory levels to ensure operational requirements are met.

Drive improvements across the plant in processes and overall performance.

Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and develop necessary action plans.

Recruit, supervise, assess, and develop team members to fulfill objectives.

Deliver comprehensive training in operations, safety protocols, and documentation practices.

Identify opportunities for career advancement for team members.

Effectively schedule personnel to ensure smooth shift transitions and monitor progress.

Oversee documentation related to operations, logs, audits, and corrective measures.

Utilize the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) approach for problem-solving and enhancements.

Respond swiftly to production or delivery requirements.

Ensure adherence to safety regulations and proactively address unsafe conditions.

Administer policies consistently and fairly.

Provide guidance, counseling, and corrective actions as necessary.

Align with organizational goals in safety, quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness.

Implement ongoing improvement initiatives, including 5S practices and cost-saving measures.

Report safety, quality, and disciplinary matters in a timely manner.

Encourage communication across shifts and resolve issues among supervisors.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES (Include but are not limited to):
Participate in designated continuous improvement activities.

Facilitate meetings focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Engagement (SQDCE) and utilize accountability boards.

Communicate daily with team members regarding performance, initiatives, policy updates, safety, and quality matters.

Support employee growth through performance management, coaching, and constructive feedback.

Train and develop production staff in extrusion techniques.

Manage scrap materials to minimize waste.

Ensure timely completion of the extrusion production schedule.

Perform extrusion operator tasks as needed.

Operate all extrusion machinery with proficiency.

Collaborate with the extrusion team to implement cost-saving strategies.

SUPERVISION OF OTHERS (Include but are not limited to):

Oversee a team of manufacturing associates.

Foster an inclusive workplace by actively listening, gathering information for decision-making, and taking prompt action when necessary.
