Operations Manager

We're seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead our mobile pet grooming team in a designated territory. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for building, growing, and empowering a team of Pet Stylists to deliver exceptional customer service and world-class grooming experiences.
Your primary focus will be on driving safety, efficiency, and effectiveness in all aspects of grooming operations, including mobile services and hub inventory management. You'll also be accountable for team performance, including attendance, productivity, rebooking, and customer experience.
As a strategic and hands-on leader, you'll develop and implement strategies to achieve success for your territory, while maintaining a healthy and positive work environment for your team. Key Responsibilities- Embody Barkbus core values and ensure Pet Stylist accountability
- Hire and grow a team of 20+ mobile pet stylists
- Drive safety, efficiency, and effectiveness in all aspects of grooming operations
- Accountable for team performance, including attendance, productivity, rebooking, and customer experience
- Act as primary point of contact for day-to-day service and scheduling escalations
- Own customer experience for the territory and work directly with pet parents
- Prioritize ongoing training, development, and engagement for Pet Stylists
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal cross-functional teams
- Relentless determination and grit to drive results
- Ability to think strategically and tactically, with a focus on operational excellence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders
