A highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant is needed to support educational staff in a dynamic school environment. This rewarding role involves working with students aged 8-11, providing assistance and guidance to help them overcome communication challenges.

As an SLPA, you will play a vital part in ensuring the success of these young learners by supporting their development of essential language skills. You will work closely with experienced speech therapists, teachers, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

To succeed in this position, you should have a minimum of 1+ years experience in speech therapy, preferably in a school setting. A strong understanding of child development and communication disorders is essential. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist speech therapists in delivering individualized interventions to students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement instructional plans to support student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure seamless integration of SLPA services into classroom activities
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other professionals to promote student success

Requirements:

  • MA SLPA license required
  • Previous school experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of child development and communication disorders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
