Job Title: Traveling Catheterization Laboratory Technologist
Job Summary:
GLC On-The-Go is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab, ensuring all equipment is in good working order
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and obtaining informed consent
- Assist the physician during procedures, including monitoring patient vital signs and providing support as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a cath lab setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
