LRS Healthcare - Imaging is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Kentucky. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and applying necessary restraints.
- Assist the physician during procedures, including passing instruments, monitoring the patient's vital signs, and maintaining a sterile field.
- Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to capture high-quality images.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a cath lab setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
