Job Overview

Timmons Group is in search of a skilled Civil Project Manager specializing in Traffic Analysis and Planning to enhance our Traffic Analysis and Planning Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the effective management of designated projects while fostering robust client relationships.
  • Engage in marketing initiatives and business development efforts, ensuring technical excellence, profitability, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Coordinate project staff, manage client communications, negotiate project scopes and fees, and assist in billing and fee collection as necessary.
  • Maintain exceptional relationships with clients and promote Timmons Group services beyond your direct expertise.
  • Ensure ongoing communication with the Office Manager and Transportation Group Leader.
  • Simultaneously manage several mid-sized projects, multiple smaller projects, or a single larger project.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferred professional registration (P.E., PTOE, etc.) in relevant states.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in roadway design and traffic engineering, particularly with projects for governmental entities.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting and proven ability to manage schedules and budgets across multiple projects.
  • Experience in marketing and supervising technical work.
  • Proficient in technical and office support software necessary for the role, including MicroStation and traffic analysis software (e.g., Synchro, SimTraffic, Trans Modeler, VISSIM).

Exhibit a professional demeanor towards clients and colleagues, effectively communicate during daily tasks, and cultivate professional relationships while assisting others in meeting critical deadlines.
