Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled laborer to provide support and assistance to our skilled crafts on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare areas for concrete placement, including excavation and grading
  • Assemble and disassemble concrete forms, lifting prefabricated metal panels as needed
  • Handle concrete buckets suspended from cranes, transferring concrete from trucks to placement areas
  • Muck concrete to spread it evenly after pouring
  • Assist in stripping concrete forms and transporting them for storage
  • Support block masons by handling and transporting materials, including cement, lime, sand, and grout
  • Assist carpenters in handling and setting door frames
  • Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools
  • Distribute site materials according to project plans and specifications
  • Ensure a safe work environment and communicate jobsite hazards
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to follow safe work practices and take initiative
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and stakeholders
  • Reliable transportation and consistent work attendance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in construction layout, blueprint reading, and shop drawing reading
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • CPR & First Aid Certification
