Key Responsibilities- Promote and market the services of the Career Centers to local businesses, utilizing relevant business insights to support career coaching initiatives.
- Engage in strategic planning efforts to develop employer-driven programs, training, and services tailored to our region's needs.
- Reach out to employers to understand their requirements and inform them about the various services available through our workforce initiatives.
- Provide a range of services to businesses, including job order postings, candidate referrals, recruitment events, job fairs, and connections to partner organizations.
- Ensure that Career Center staff are informed about employer needs and job specifications to facilitate efficient job order processing.
- Collaborate with team members to assist Career Center clients in securing employment opportunities.
- Organize and deliver group presentations to employers to showcase available services.
- Plan and execute job fairs and recruitment events to create large-scale employment opportunities for both employers and job seekers.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, along with three years of customer service or relevant experience.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in human services, public administration, business management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- At least two years of experience in a career center or providing business services is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative business services team.
- Familiarity with WIOA and other Career Center Programs, including regulations and administrative requirements, is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to engage sensitively and effectively with individuals from diverse social, economic, and cultural backgrounds.
