About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Academic Advisor I to support our admissions department at K12 Coalition. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless admissions experience for prospective educators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage applicant evaluations, processing transcripts, and providing exceptional customer service to candidates.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for candidates during the submission of application documents, including transcripts and test scores.
  • Process electronic and mailed application documents efficiently to ensure timely and accurate evaluations.
  • Provide clear and accurate guidance to applicants regarding the admissions process.
  • Answer questions about the program and state-specific operations.
  • Identify and implement strategies to resolve application friction points and improve the admissions process.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a university setting is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with experience in providing clear guidance and customer support.
  • Proficiency in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Comfortable using technology for document management and customer interaction, with proficiency in standard office software.
