Job Summary

Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist II to join our Outpatient Neurology Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating and developing therapy plans for patients with a broad range of neurological diagnoses and acuities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to identify their level of function and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with interprofessional care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers on physical therapy techniques and strategies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas
  • At least two years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient neurology setting
  • Strong assessment, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
