Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Stay up-to-date with applicable data privacy and security regulations, including HIPAA, GDPR, and PIPL.
    • Draft, review, and provide input on agreements, assessments, notices, statements, policies, and processes.
  • Data Risk Management
    • Identify potential data privacy risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
    • Assess data privacy frameworks and certifications with the US Department of Commerce.
  • Employee Education and Training
    • Develop and deliver employee educational articles, trainings, and resources.
    • Update annual employee trainings and onboarding materials.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and maintain transparency of daily workflow status.
    • Support internal audits and risk assessments as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) and Juris Doctor required.
    • CIPP certification preferred.
  • Experience
    • Mandatory minimum 1-3+ years experience in the privacy profession.
  • Skills
    • Excellent reasoning and judgment.
    • Ability to follow up with stakeholders to see projects to completion.
    • Contribute to program maturation efforts and process improvements.
Working Conditions

This role requires occasional domestic and international travel, as well as the ability to work independently under general supervision.
