Senior Data Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Governance Specialist to join our team at Cook Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data assets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate data privacy risks.
Provide expert advice and guidance on data protection and compliance matters.
Create and maintain employee educational resources and training programs on data privacy and security.
Participate in meetings with business partners to discuss initiatives and provide input on data-related matters.
Conduct assessments and provide recommendations on data privacy frameworks and certifications.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) and Juris Doctor required.
CIPP certification preferred.
Minimum 1-3+ years of experience in the privacy profession.
Strong understanding of HIPAA, GDPR, and PIPL regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
