General Overview:
As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will deliver comprehensive healthcare services to a designated patient demographic in collaboration with a multidisciplinary medical team. Your role will involve adhering to established clinical protocols and providing guidance to nursing and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough medical assessments, including evaluations, diagnoses, treatment plans, and health education tailored to the patient's needs.
2. Gather patient histories and ensure meticulous documentation of care provided.
3. Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions.
4. Develop and document individualized care plans, including medication prescriptions based on comprehensive assessments.
5. Communicate care plans effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and their families, ensuring clarity and understanding.
6. Deliver medical care in accordance with established standards, providing education to patients and families as needed.
7. Maintain accurate clinical records, documenting findings and care interventions.
8. Collaborate with healthcare team members to address patient health needs and evaluate care effectiveness.
9. Uphold the confidentiality and security of patient information, disclosing only necessary details for job functions.
10. Perform advanced procedures and assist in surgical interventions as required.

Qualifications:
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program recognized by the State Board of Licensing.
• Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant is mandatory.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• BLS certification is required prior to engaging in direct patient care.
• Eligibility for DEA and CDS certification.
