Housekeeper Job Description

By the Sea Resorts is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our resort facilities in Panama City Beach, FL.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all areas of the resort are clean and tidy to the highest standards within designated timeframes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Create daily job lists and record all serviced rooms to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operations.
  • Report any shortages, damages, or security issues to management promptly.
  • Handle guest complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to management as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of consumables to prevent shortages.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a relevant field, such as housekeeping or customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and remain motivated in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a helpful attitude.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
  • Professionalism, speed, and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
  • Knowledge of English language and basic math skills.
  • High school degree or equivalent.
