Gov Solutions Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to support critical initiatives within the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). In this pivotal role, you will provide essential technical support to the Director of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Enterprise Engineering, who oversees design evaluations, sets architectural and design benchmarks, manages Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and coordinates M&S efforts across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct analysis to gather stakeholder requirements and assess mission objectives.
- Establish requirements and perform comprehensive functional analysis.
- Create and review technical documentation.
- Assist in technical evaluations and reviews.
- Drive M&S and digital engineering transformation projects.
- Represent Enterprise Engineering in inter-agency teams and collaborative groups.
- Active Secret clearance.
- In-depth experience in Ballistic Missile Defense System (MDS) operations within MDA.
- Proficient in defining, designing, developing, verifying, validating, and analyzing MDS M&S, including ground tests and virtual simulations.
- Experience in systems engineering and testing for MDS components such as Patriot, THAAD, GMD, Sensors, or C2.
- Familiarity with MDA testing events and M&S product support.
- Hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML), along with other M&S languages like MATLAB.
- Advanced degree (MS or Ph.D.) in a relevant field is preferred.
- Strong creative, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Capability to collaborate with a diverse engineering team across various locations.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to develop and implement project plans aligned with governmental strategic objectives.
- Self-motivated and proactive in approach.
A Master's Degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 12 years of professional experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 20+ years of applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a Master's degree.
Travel Requirements:Occasional travel of 1-2 weeks per year based on organizational needs.
Compensation:Salary range: $130,000 - $160,000. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
