Responsibilities:
The Tax and Audit Support Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Monitor departmental emails
2. Receive and save documents to the server
3. Upload tax or audit documents to the community's document repository
4. Send standard communications to HOA board members for the signing of tax returns and representation letters
5. Generate standard financial reports and uploads for auditors
6. Research exemptions and/or statuses with state authorities
7. Prepare California annual reports for review and submission
8. Assist with the filing of documents
9. Ensure all necessary documents are uploaded by the transition team
10. Maintain a master community listing with tax and audit information
11. Perform other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the manager

Qualifications:
1. Experience with mid-tier accounting software applications is a plus
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
3. Ability to adhere to established standard operating procedures and meet deadlines
4. Knowledge of tax preparation is advantageous
5. Capability to work independently
6. Attention to detail is essential

Pay and Benefits:
Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on education and experience.
