Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate production equipment, including blending, mixing, and cooking ingredients, to produce high-quality candy products.
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Ensure accurate and timely production of products, including recording data and completing required reports.
- Collaborate with production team members to achieve plant goals and objectives.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Train and mentor new production team members to ensure a smooth transition and high-quality performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentages.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects of moderate weight (up to 50 pounds).
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime, holidays, and weekends.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality.
