Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate production equipment, including blending, mixing, and cooking ingredients, to produce high-quality candy products.
  • Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Ensure accurate and timely production of products, including recording data and completing required reports.
  • Collaborate with production team members to achieve plant goals and objectives.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Train and mentor new production team members to ensure a smooth transition and high-quality performance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentages.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects of moderate weight (up to 50 pounds).
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime, holidays, and weekends.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality.
